CEJ is thrilled to announce the launch of our Environmental Protection and Development (EPD) Strategy and Implementation Framework, a significant step forward following the successful 2023 EPD and Traditional leaders Caucus (TLC) sessions.
Stakeholder engagement is the heart of our strategy, ensuring sustained collaboration throughout EPD and TLC implementation. We’re calling for expressions of interest from environmental institutions to form an implementing consortium, uniting key players across institutional, policy, legal, regulatory, funding, service provider, and community levels. This collective effort will amplify collaboration and ownership, influencing the breadth and context of our implementation endeavors.
CEJ has meticulously crafted a Strategy and Implementation Framework, consolidating resolutions from EPD2020 to EPD2023 and TLC 2022-2023. This structured approach transforms resolutions into actionable plans, prioritizing accountability, monitoring, and communication. The Framework defines goals, strategic objectives, activities, and funding requirements, with a detailed accountability mechanism specifying timeframes, responsible parties, and clear targets.
